Premium Copper is designed to meet the special needs of all of today's high-performance automobiles.... with special emphasis on higher-revving 4-cylinder and turbocharged engines. The superior quality of PREMIUM COPPER makes it far more oil resistant than other silicone products, much stronger when used between oily surfaces and more flexible than cork and composite gaskets. PREMIUM COPPER seals dissimilar materials (such as steel to aluminum), as well as similar materials, and remains flexible under use. Temperature range: -80 F to 700 F (-26 C to 371 C). USE FOR: Exhaust Manifolds/Heaters, Valve Covers, Oil Pans, Timing Covers, Water Pumps and Thermostat Housings. BONDS TO: felt, glass, wood, cork, metal, rubber, paper, plastics, ceramics, leather, tile, vinyl, fabrics, and asbestos gaskets. Sealant is not recommended for uses where continuous immersion in gasoline is involved, or for head gasketing applications.
