Offered is a Moeck Rottenburgh maple sporano recorder Model 229. Designed after Jean-Hyacinth-Joseph Rottenburgh by Friedrich von Heune. Plays with Baroque fingerings. This instrument also has a straight windway which is only found on older models. The straight windway is especially helpful in playing with a strong tone and is much more dependable than a curved windway when playing in a large group or for outdoor venues. Always good to have one of these on hand for special circumstances. Made in Germany c.1970's.
The condition is great. Overall a good player. Plays nicely with a clear resonant tone and in tune at A=440.
