created using a
technique known as "deshilado"
, by removing threads to create the patterns.
The 3/4 length sleeves
also have this "lace like" design running down the sides....
This 100% cotton blouse was
handmade by Purepecha Indian Women from Michoacan Mexico.
Until recently i've only been able to acquire this type of blouse when traveling in Michoacan, but now have a new source...

The Blouse measures 16 inches across the bodice.  And 20 inches from armpit to armpit (40 inches all around) and 30 inches Long.
