    Description

Old original 1927 calendar has all 12 months intact.  Advertising is for Hall & Densmore Groceries on Pleasant Street in Claremont, New Hampshire.  The calendar was published by The John Baumgarth Company in Chicago, Illinois.
The calendar backing is quite darkened from age and has some edge and corner wear.  There is a smudge to the left of the calendar pad and a darkened area to the right of the address.
Total measurements of calendar backing are 10 3/8 x 16 7/8 inches.  The calendar pad of the 12 months is a bit yellowed.
The lithograph print is a night time image of a moose standing on an outcropping beside a river or lake in the moonlight.  There are poplar or birch trees, pine trees and mountains.  On the other side of the river or lake is another moose that the "main moose" is probably calling to.  The print is in surprising good condition- no tears, stains or creases.  Just a tiny bit of foxing in the trees to the right and just a bit of surface wear.  Don't think any of this would be noticeable when framed, just want to be accurate.  The print image measures 8 x 10 inches.  Titled lower center "The Silvery Divide" and has a signature lower right of Geo. W. Turner, a known pseudonym of R. Atkinson Fox.
Please view all photos and ask any questions.  This will be mailed flat between cardboard.  Will combine mailing on multiple purchases whenever possible.
